explorer 1993 vs 1997

hey all i picked up a 1997 ford explorer with no motor in it... i was thinkin about buyin a 1993 parts explorer and i was woundering if the 4.0L from the 1993 year will work in the 1997s.........

the bolt patterns are the same, but the new model came with a SOHC 4.0 where as the 93 will only have had an OHV 4.0. It should work, but I think the computer might pose a problem.
