Small update for today. I just put in some body bushing that stopped the body from bowing down. I can now get in the vehicle and close the door. Luxury here I come

Project is kinda stalled with me trying to find a tube bender to make my roll cage. If anyone wants to lend me one I would be really happy. Other than that in a couple of the weeks I will have it on the road for 3 days just to test it out a little bit. I am not really looking forward to the rain with no roof... but other then that I am excited to get it actually streetable again.
All I go to do before it is streetable is
Replace valve cover gasket
Replace brake cylinders
Attach batter kill switch to inner fender.

I have all the stuff in a bag waiting for the weekend to install it all.

Got bored of having the scout sit beside the house and needed a break from my homework. My goal is to get the scout insured for Nov 13, 14, and 15 to get a bit of a test drive to see how it is running and if there is any other problems left to fix. All I have left to do is bleed the front breaks, replace the valve cover gaskets, and do an oil change. Also give all the bolts a quick check to make sure everything is tight.

I have a feeling it will be a pretty cold few days of driving since I have decided to leave the scout top less...

I know I am using it to replace my jeep as my wheeler. Also since the spring is coming, it is almost time to pull of the tarps and refill the tires and get it running again. I am hoping that I might actually get to test it out this summer.

Well the weather is nice, and I am starting to get a bunch of extra cash for doing some resto work on other peoples cars. So it is time to dust off my welder, and pull of some tarps. Gonna try to get the scout running tomorrow and next weekend start to prep the interior for the roll on bed liner I found sitting in my garage. AKA more update photos in a couple of weeks

Well I think I may have figured the problem of it not starting which is a weak spark, I tried to replace the coil, condensor, rotor and points. However they gave me a set of ones that do not fit, so I got to order up the proper ones. I am hoping to get the correct ones in mid week and put in on friday, and get it starting on friday as well.

Well I narrowed the problems of it not running to the carburator. So if the next couple of weeks I am going to rebuild it and hopefully get the problem solved (I say weeks because it is almost time for finals in my classes)
