Complete axle?

I also saw the scout build up... i thought it was pretty funny since most of the things they are doing is stuff i was planning to do, except i was thinking about custom 4-link full way around since it will be a final project for my program i am in. i liked the front SOA idea with rear 4 link... i may steal that idea... I am thinking about doing a fender cut on the scout for more tire clearence and get rid of some of the rust roughly how much would you suggest to cut off, and what is the best way to finish the edge?

for mine I cut about 4 inches out in the rear and made larger wheel tubs to replace the original wells the diameter of he tubs and fender opening closely matches that of the tires then I installed CJ flares In the front I trimmed about 2-3 inches

the cj flares roll under the edge and over the face of the fender so you got some room for error
I'll try and get some pics up for ya too
