alot more than you wanna spend on a new carpet just to do this again. it takes along time to gut an interior at a wreckin yard just for a fuckin carpet( trust mei did one today ) , so with the manhours involved they would try to sell it at a highprice.

give me the year abd ill find out what a new(used) carpet from my work would cost, then you can say fusk it and rinoline that bitch

Rhino linning might be an option, not sure what new carpeting would go for?
You will figure it out pretty quick once the ripening process starts and you start seeing mushrooms...
Hey maybe it could be a mobile gro-op
I think you will really like the rhino liner if you go that way...

I had that issue a long time ago....get a wet dry shop vac...vacume out as much as you can then at night...get one of those little electric heaters from home depot...plug it in at night and run the wire through the window...which will also allow some of the moist air out of the vehical at night...

it will take some time but worth it in the end...

I got tired of wet carpets in my old Toyota so i ripped out the carpet. Easier to clean all the mud out now. Sure is a lot louder now. Its amazing what a little bit of carpet cancels out.

Pull the carpets dry them out then put them back in or they will never dry. My jeep got soaked once and I had a heater cranked in it all week and the underlineing was still soaked. Even tried. Sucking up the water with towels and a shop vac and no go

carpets coming out im gonna rhino line the whole thing professionally and be done with it. They have been stinking lately from small amounts of water from snow.

Once rhino lined i will get some think rubber mats to keep the noise down.

the only way to do it right is too pull out the carpets man. You don't want mould setting in. it will start growing everywhere even in your hvac system. You don't want to breath that in when you turn the fan on.

just my opinion though

well i got it back, it sounds a bit louder than i remember. I ahve noticed a few electrical gremlins already, the back window wont go down, the alarms isnt working and the rear defrost doesnt work either.

it smells like bad chinees resturant and will need some more TLC to get back to form.

but im well on the way and i plan on working on it a bunch this weekend
