GM refusing warranty work now

Just heard yesterday that GM has been turning down warranty work. Thought I'd pass along incase anyone was thinking of buying a new one.

warrantee is a binding contract. there may be casses when warranty doesnt apply through stupidity. but as long as you hold up your end of the contract they need to hold up theres.

Where did you here that. It was probably one guy that wanted something stupid done under warranty. The dealerships would not turn it away. That is there Bread and butter in the shops.

I was wondering the same. We have an 08 GM Acadia and just booked a warranty service yesterday for the 20th. There were no issues at all and no talk of not covering anything.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but at least Carter GM seems to be fine as far as our Acadia is concerned.

This is how ford deals with reliability issues. You get your own spare 'Fuckus" car for when the 'good' one is in the shop to get fixed.

If you follow the service schedule and keep records then you shouldn't have any probs.
