They do have a good warranty for sure, you just pay ahead of time for it!

Yamaha has (had?) a good deal right now, an extra 12 months warranty free, so 18 months total, better then the shitty 6 months I got with mine.

I traded in my 2002 Yamaha Grizz 660 for a 2008 Can-am Renegade 800. There is NO comparison between the two. The Gade is so much better, way more power, lighter and handles great! I have heard about all the issues with Can-am's and I have had none so far. I did buy a $30 trickle charger so that I don't have any battery issues. Can-am only comes with a 6 month warranty but they have a promo on right now that bumps it up to 3 years for free or you can get a free winch or $99 payments, I got the warranty!
