I always preferred that route. My guess is that the big Whistler-esque resort development they are doing up there has something to do with it.

I think it's totally about the resort, maybe a little to help the truckers, but the article say's he listened to BC residents...ya right

Wow of great goverment at work again. Now the most expensive highway in canada to keep open is now free. 'i thought it worked great before you only pay if you wanna use em. Now we all have to pay for the fucking coquihalla open....
