Whatever you do, dont buy a big one. I got a great deal on a 6 person tent at costco but its too big and complicated to set up at Whipsaw and alot of the small bush sites. plus the big ones get colder inside with so much space. I went to crappy tire and picked up a 2 man tent for 35 bucks. Way easier to set up and stay warm in. Plus if it only last 2 or 3 seasons who cares.

Yeah, that fawker was pretty big ...nice though. I'm up for a new tent next year too. Mine is in good shape but too damn short to get in and out of easily, and I'm not exactly a tall guy.

Recommend a FULL fly(not the beanie type fly) and a TUB base like the one pictured by England, not sure of the ARCH type fly that England has, guess it's O.K. if the rain isn't driving at the door. But full fly, tub base and rip-stop. I have had so many problems with the zippers on these newer tents, they always seem to be the weak point.

if u are looking for a good quality tent use what the marines use my ffriend and i both bought one of these and the quality is unbelievable. the whole thing weighs 8 pounds the poles go together better than anything i've seen. it has a blackout fly so the sun cant get in and wake u up at 5 in the morning anyways heres the web site i dont think you will find a better tent for the price http://www.gr8gear.com/catalog/Campi...bat-Tent-Used/
