Makes me wonder if anyone offers courses in winching/recovery techniques. There was obviously alot of experience at work on this one.

Bravo to all involved in getting this lake back to being able to start fixing itself.

Yes the kid did seem a little overwhelmed as I would have been a few years ago. But I've learned to give back more to people who have helped me than they gave me. (ask rockrawler ) But even if nothing ever comes back from him I bet in the future he may go above and beyond when helping someone else, got to love karma.

And for some more pics.

Well, if it weren't for people like Rockcrawler and a dude named Grant, my Heep could still very well be stuck on the Hut Lake trail got stuck there real bad in November 2007.....high centered and not running whatsoever.....karma has a way of finding where to go. Not long afterwards I came across an older couple stuffed their cavalier into a snowbank in highway 3 about 45 minutes east of Hope...I tried to wiggle the car out myself, didn't work and my car isn't exactly towing material, I told them I'd find help, and headed off west, got about 20K down the road, there was a plow and he was able to summon a wrecker to get the car out, so I figued ah it's only 20K, I headed back to the couple and stuck around keeping them warm til the wrecker arrived and yanked the car out. little things like that make ya feel good.
