Smoke from Motor - Pathfinder

On the driver's side, near the windshield, we see grey-blue smoke rising through the hood from the warm motor. We have seen this smoke two different times. Not sure what is happening?

A few weeks ago, two family members put oil in at different times, spill over onto motor the last time. Could that be where the smoke is rising from - spilled oil?

I think maybe a valve?

You guys have any ideas?

taxi, make sure that the Valve cover is tight. They have a habbit of comming loose.

Aslo, you exaust "t"s together at that place.

it is possible that your Valve cover is loose or the gasket is bad. Loosing oil and spilling on your exahust, causing smoke

Just the hood.

i would not be surprised if it was just spilt oil on the exhaust / exhaust manifold. happens with my car after every oil change. stupid wire flex piece is directly under the oil filter.
