tracker/kicker auto trans question

My tracker tranny is acting up a little, when its cold it is slow shifting and when on steep angles it seems to pop in to nuetral sorta,I think the pump is weak but here is my question. It is a 91 and i found a guy selling a 92 tranny. Will they be the same?Everything i can find says yes but has anyone done it or similiar?
He also has the rear window i need but i know not all of the zippers were the same, some sart on the other side,is there any steadfast rule for which roofs were the same?

The tranny is the same, it'll bolt right up. As far as the tops go they are the same from 89-94 and 95 and newer are different. If it has or you have a aftermarket top the zippers very well could be different
