I love the power of my 2004 660 so i suspect the 2008-9 700 should be even that much more fun. I'm did like you shopped around all over and ended up at the Yamaha, I like to ride hard and so do my kids. I am Very Happy with my decision. I rode the Can AMs they where nice but PRICEY the polaris where ok but my neighbor complains about how hard is job at M&m Preformance is He's a Mechanic for Polaris. He said he would Help to keep my quad running tip top as long as my quad wasn't a Polaris, that kinda spoke for itself.

Well I have def made my decision gonna go with the Grizz price wise with all the research iv done i think the only deal worth getting is the grizzly with all the stuff im getting with it for the price the outty you have to pay over and above to get what im getting on the grizz. Granted it may not have the power the outty has but it will be close enough for now once i get some up grades on it. Ill give Can-am acouple years to work some of there flaws out that i find i dont like before i look at them again.

it's all about the power steering thats for sure. Just have to think how easy it will be to turn and drink a beer It still has good fricken power you don't need all that much on a quad anyways

Granted it would be nice to have power steering for the beer factor, but theres more to it than power steering. I have a need for power it all comes from my moto-X riding with 2 smokes I guess.

My son has a Griz.700 and has no problems pulling the front end and can hold it there for 50' or more,I don't think it has a lack of power. It's stock except tires, running mud lites.

Well after some careful thought and some serious research and hard demo riding today I have come down to the decision. I am going to go with the 700 Grizzly I really like how it rides and functions. I did a test today same distance and timed it the can-am800 vs the grizzly700 the griz was only 1.5 sec slower than the 800 can-am. So in 3 weeks i will have the new griz.

Onestly they where both very nice to ride but I liked the price on the grizz the can-am was to pricey for what you get and for that 700 to only be about 1.5 sec behind the 800 I can live with that. Beside the grizz for $14000 otd I get rim and tire package full aluminum skid plates all installed for that price cant go wrong. The can-am is like $15000 otd and you dont get rims and tires or skid plate. In a couple years will see how can-am does with there prices and other stuff then may be Ill pick one up. But I have always liked my yamahas any ways riden there bikes since I was a kid. Should be fun 3 weeks away from getting it.
