If you yank your rear sway bar you'll get a bit more stretch than that. I didn't notice much of a difference in stability without one...

Are most of you guys putting solid axles in the Nissans or do you beef up the IFS somehow?

You can get upgraded suspension parts, but the issue with the nissan front end is the CV joints.

if your only mild offroading, get a lift, rear locker.. and call it a day.

if your going to be rock crawling.. etc. solid axle is the way to go.

I had lots of fun with mine before I started modding it. Once I started pushing it hard and went to 33's and cranked the torsion bars I started breaking stuff... a lot. I'm doing a SAS (check the custon fab room if you want to see it) but, like Jeremy said, if you're not crawling with it you'll be happy with a mild lift (Calmini).

Most people at npora, the pathfinder forum, just keep the IFS, but most of them aren't very innovative...largely a buy and bolt on community. Like pathy said, all the ones that do anything serious put solid axles in. He would know to, he's got the nicest pathy I've seen.

I guess i never posted pics of my pathy...

Nice and shiny when i bought it

After alum rims, new boots, front and rear bumpers, other minor stuff...

How it sits now after the new hood... I got a fender too but i need a bumper and grill first... Do it all at once, at least with the hood on it looks great from drivers seat
