1970 vw baja bug

ITS ACTUALY A 69

this is my new progect new pics comming of it and some of my rail buggy
the bug is a dualport 1600 so far ive chopped the back fenders did the exhaust and im now working on the floor

I've seen em done without the kit and they look good but you need to cut waaaaaaaaaay more off.

yea tones mores getting cut off its a work in progress and its a thrush not a cherry bomb thrush is a lil better but i think im gunna put two out the back ill go take pics of the rail bugy it has no tires cuz my buddys putting a set of 35s on the back

My pop use to build Baja & Dune buggies when I was a kid in the 70's. We had this one Baja, it had 18" clearance to the diff, he used reduction gears from pre-71 Type 3 Van.

Ahhh the fun we had back in the day..

thatts sick lucas!!!! id like to find some guys who have me to go beat on em with them cuz i dont kno a hell of a lot im just kinda winging it now i kno on the front axel u can cut something flip it and re weld it does any one know a web site or have personal pictures on how to do this it would be much apreciated.

Thats a nice lookin' beetle.... I used to build thoes things when I lived in Victoria.. They are fun as hell... Ever thought about an RX7 engine ?
