May interest you.. The Inland Seas

If youve never heard of The Edmund Fitzgerald, it was the Titanic of The Great Lakes. Went down a many years ago and Jacques Cousteau explored the wreck. Im from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario... Northern part.. in the middle of the great lakes. Access to Lake Superior, Huron and Michigan in minutes. Some of the best hunting, fishing, camping and some decent wheelin in the Canadian Shield. Anyways.. just some pics of an average sea in Lake Superior in November

Had a cabin right on lake superior, with a view ( with binoculars ) of the channel that connects Superior to Huron. We used to see these freights often, heading from lake to lake.

I got family around the Soo - Echo Bay out to Desperats. I've seen many a friggen huge wave come over the breaks - especially in winter! I lived there for a while as a teen out near the far end of Echo River and loved that area. Very wild, lots of game and good fishing!
