ya grand prairie is the hub of the north. if anything i suggest to try and work for a bc company, alberta ones tend to pay per job and not hourly. ive seen guys on a job for 18 hrs and they only got paid up till 12 hrs, so in the long run thier makin less per hr if you avrage it out.

I'm heading up to GP tomorrow morning. I spent lots of time in DC over the last 3 years. I don't really like it there, but I do like the country between DC Tumbler and Chetwynd, where I spend most of my time working in the past 3 summers.

Lots of neat rocks for this rockhound to pick up.

Hmm. Seems to be lots of ugly people in Grande Prairie.

Not that i'm a looker myself or anything. Just an observation.

Yep, 3 winters in Fort Nelson. Way up the Dilly in several PTI camps, also at the North American camp that was at 92.5 on the Sierra, the Beaver camp up the Kombi and the floating around camp that was once at 186 on the Sierra but moved to the pipeline road going to Rainbow lake.

I once went 2 whole weeks without seeing one single female. It sounds weird, but try it. It's harder to accomplish than you might think.
