I am new to this site but I thought people should know about this info I have heard for may long at postil. Apparently there will be enviromentalist guys up there dressed up in plain clothes, taking pictures of trucks that go in the mud pits then be giving tickets to those people with a big fine. I have heard this from a solid source and I am still somewhat sceptical myself, but with taking into consideration of the article that was in the news paper not too long ago and mud boggin and 4x4in, that I could definitly see these eviromentalist dicks doing something like that. I don't know if anyone has heard of anything else like this but I could definitly see it happening as postil is very well known.

I agree with the license plates but also there is no posting of signs that say your not allowed to 4x4 there and which would be a reasonable arguement if fines were being handed out. I bet they can only write one ticket per truck per day. I wouldn't be suprised to see some piggys up there too!

Absolutlety the cops will be up there for sure, so make sure if you are drinkin' don't be drivin'.

I don't think that the enviromentalist can even had out tickets, and you are right there are not signs at the pond stating that is is private property or no trespassing it is on crown land, so i think that those people are shit out of luck, and ya good luck tring to had out tickets cause they will get knocked the fuck out.

i think the cops are a good thing up there, they should be no problem to you if your not doing anything retarded, they dont even try to stop the guys that are drinking and driving around the pond, only the people heading down which is good. just my 3 cents, as for the fine, i think its b.s. theres been rumours that maylong will be crashed for years now but has never happened....

i have a cabin at dee lake. practially live up there. more and more the
conservation officers have been coming up in full force. one weekend in
spring i counted 8 of them, with quads and sleds. they stopped me,checked
and ran serial numbers on my machines. gave me shit cuz i didn't have my
papers with me. they told me they would be coming up more and more. so
beware, they have been given lots of powers now. if you're caught drinking, your screwed. they ride the old yellow skandics.
