Senseless theft in Kelowna

Went to Chute lake with some friends during Easter, last weekend and we had our trucks broken into when we were quading.

Parked at the first switchback on the Gillard FSR in the afternoon. There was a Green Toyota Ext cab with a trailer and A Red & White Ford Reg Cab long box.

They tried to pry my rightside lock out, with no luck, so they broke the window instead. My buddy on the other hand had the lock ripped out of the door.

They took several sets of keys (Had to rekey the office), three cellphones and my Backpack full of my cloths. Most was for the GF since she forgot somethings at my place in the kootenays.

If anyone knows, seen or heared anything please contact me. Wouldn't mind recovering some things but most likely it is all gone.

That sucks man,but thanks for posting,I was considering leaving my truck
and trlr. there next time I go however it's prolly cheaper to just buy a permit.

Did you leave the pavement?we've had ppl leave tow rigs right at the bottom
where you turn off lakeshore without prob's.

When we go up to chute lake i trailor my truck and we always park close to the main road at the bottem, usually right infront of the big power poles at the corner, havn't had any problems there, too busy of traffic, scares the robbers off i think.

We were just buy the small substation on the FSR you can see the houses from there

Clean line of sight. There was alot of people on the road when we got there and still when we were returning. when we were there there was just a truck with a closed trailer and two black import cars parked halfway between us and the residental road.

If we find the punks they are going to remember what happens when they do shit like that. I was half tempted to tie there naked ass to my trailer and parade them downtown for an hour and then cutting the ropes at teh cop shop and dropping them off. There would be a sign stating that they broke into my truck and my friends truck.

No and most of the registation and business cards are for Nelson not the new place or my parents place. The only thing that was of my parents place was the regi to the trailer and that was tucked deep under the seat not moved.

but just in case we parked a car that can not be started with out some work done to it first in front of the collectors car that we have. Which was all in the way when i needed to get to the ATV to go out.
