I would hope your bike is faster considering it has over 200cc more.

I have been hearing that the new 4strokes are just as good if not better then the 2strokes. Thats killer since 4 strokes last longer.

The newer 4 strokes don't last longer, they're a lot more strung out than they used to be. Wait until you have to do the head on that thing...but sweet bike, regardless.

Ya and after you ride it for awhile and break it in, your gonna need to adjust the valves with shims and you can only shim them to a certain point than ya need to do the head. I heard around 2 g for a top end and head job. I bet a CR500 could still woop the 450 tho

Sweet, a bit faster than my kx 125, but all things considered I only weight a buck 40 so..................we'd probably be even in a drag race (ya right). Nice buy, but will be fukin expensive when it comes to service (shoulda stuck with a two-stroke ).

I took out an 06 CRF450 demo a couple times from my work and holy shit they are fun. I own a 02 CR250 just freshly rebuilt as of last week and still the 450 would 100% slaughter it in an instant. My favorite thing is being able to lug it so much more then a 2 stroke, since the super wide power band. Too bad the price tag is so much... otherwise id own one haha
