too much play in diff?
okay, i got this tracker lifted and stuff already off a guy, its has lock right in the rear, or so i have been told, now i find that there is a lot of play from stoplight to taking off, there is a definite initial clunk, then its fine, unless changing direction, going from reverse to forward, or vise versa. i have parked the truck, out of gear, with E-brake on, and turned the shaft by hand and it rotates at least 1/4 to 1/2 turn before stopping each way, is that just the lock right, or should i be taking it to a shop to get it looked at, cuz my old one never had that much play in it, and it had about the same km 300,000
