Cb?

wasnt really sure where to put this, so this seemed allright... umm... went to go install my cb antenna the other day.. and well... the antenna has a hole in the bottom for the cable ide say its about... 1/16th, and the cable has a prong that should go into it... but the cables prong is like 1/8th to a 1/4" big... is there some adapter? or did i get the wrong cable? or wrong antenna? would really like to get it installed before the toy run...

What do you have for a mount? the antenna screws to the top of the mount and the cable screws to the bottom of the mount.Cable does not go straight to the antenna.

k well the cable goes from the back of the cb to the antenna it fits into the cb fine, but the prong to go into the antenna is too big, is there some sort of adapter to take it down a size? (the hole on the antenna looks like the size of a normal coaxial cable "the one that your tv cable uses")

the braket you need will be different depending how you want to mount it.go to a cb store and tell them what you need.truck stops will have everything you need but you need to know what you need first. Are you going to solid mount it to a surface or use a hood/trunck mount?

Will be about $7 and it is an adapter from 1 size to the other basically that goes right through the bumper with a 1/2 inch hole and rubber washers so it doesnt ground out.Make sure the kit comes with 2 washers, lately they havent and you will probly need both.If not a washer can be found at any hardware store.
