Quads Stolen From Kootenays *RECOVERED*!!!!!!!!!!

BOTH QUADS AND TRAILER HAVE NOW BEEN RECOVERED, UNDAMAGED! CAN'T GO INTO DETAILS HOW, BUT BOTTOM LINE IS THIEF - 0, GOOD GUYS - 1! PRETTY LUCKY ACTUALLY, SO REMEMBER, LOCK YOUR SHIT UP, OUT OF SIGHT, AND KEEP A HUNGRY ROTTY CHAINED TO THEM. NEVER KNOW WHAT KIND OF SCUMBAG PIECES OF SHITS ARE WATCHING.

Just a note to all the FIBCers to watch out for a couple of quads stolen Wednesday night from Rossland (near Trail). Fortunately not mine, but still burns my ass to hear anyone losing their stuff.

They will probably be headed to a larger centre (Van, Kelowna or Calgary) for resale/parted out. These 2 bring the total to about 6 in the area stolen in the last week or 2.

2000 Honda, Yellow, not sure of model or serial number yet, will post later.

2006 Yamaha Grizzly, Green, serial number to come.

Yacht Club 2 place sled/atv tilt trailer, license plate number 776952.

Can call your local RCMP or Amber at 250 365 5496.

Thanks for your eyes everyone!

Kevin

Thieves should have there hands chopped off! That would make these fawkers think twice before ripping off things people work hard for. The cops recently recoverd a quad that was stolen a couple of years ago,so there's always hope.

jhunter, can't confirm the rip off from camps, but quads/sleds going missing from our area are pretty rare. I am guessing it's the same guy(s) doing it, hitting 3 different homes in the last month. Seems to me it happens just about every year, a few go missing in a short time, then all is quiet again. It's not like Revy where thieves actually go just to steal sleds in the winter. Not saying Revy has a problem, just there are a lot of sledder tourists there, and therefore it sees a lot more sleds then most other places.
