Pressing in king pin bushings can be a PITA>..and half the time u can get a good used front end for as much $$ as the little parts will cost..
im still on the look out.. i will let ya know...i will call airspeed..they are cleaning house right now and i know for sure they have tons of used front ends

How did it do?

Im aiming to get my broken camper of my flatdeck and fixed this week so that I can take my rail to stave with a buddy and his on saturday.

I need to get some launch time and mudding in.

I went easy on it cus it still needs lots more work but I was very happy with how it performed did some good muddin and some deep water crossin just didn`t get past second gear no brakes still

I barely ever get mine out of 2nd and i drive to the floor. I had it in 3rd at herrling and it was gettin pretty hairy. Fast as fuck.

I`ve gotten mine to the bottom of fourth and with haste I might add on the hwy up in goldbridge and was tailed by some members of our group they timed me at 90kph with 3000rpm to go and thats with just a little 1600


And Jay you thought it was funny when the brakes fell right out I needed an anger beer or four

My old rail had a done 1835 dual carbs and i it steered dead straight. I had it full out in 4th wouldnt go anyfaster.

It must have been in the 160km an hour range i would think. A stock motor would probably clock out at around 130km or more i would think so it must be above that. That wasnt spooled thought so it was easier to handle at high speeds.

Next time out im taking my gps to see what kind of speed im making. I think 2nd full out must be around 70-80km.
