Yj 2.5 Head swap question

Engine #1 - 1990 carbed 2.5
Engine #2 - 1995 injected 2.5

Theory here is to take the bottom end from the 1990 and put the 1995 head and inj on it. Doing this for a buddy and wondering if anyone knows of anything I should look out for. Not sure if the water jackets or oil passages are the same etc.

Wrecker said to make sure its a long block, but that doesn't make sense if we're just using the bottom end. Maybe he meant tall block??

Anyone have experience with this?
Looked through JEep FAQ and tried to find stuff on the web but for obvious reasons theres no info on the 2.5.

Long block usually means block assembled with head(s), short block is block minus head(s). Not sure what the wrecker meant by it though! I am no help as far as the swap, haven't worked on too many Jeeps!
