Fire ban starts tomorrow

This is early. I don't think it's needed yet for the coast.

Camp fires are a open fire
Closed fire is wood stove with a csa approved install
So just unloading one on beach or campground won't fly
I just asked the head fire investigator for Coquitlam

Open burning and camp fires are not the same and are classed separately on the provincial site as the link shows. Of course municipalities can implement their own bans but here the municipality also classifies them seperately.

The $100 ones seems to be the best.

I bought I high end one and regret it. Can't be used in the rain and takes time to set up

And the inventor flop on his crowd funding

A shovel or water
A fire break
Never leave unattended

And a drunken Irishman to throw explosives in

I just asked the head fire investigator for Coquitlam
the article clearly stated that camp fires are approved still.

and of course the coquitlam fire guy said that..they are nazis in the tri cities about fires. anywhere that is normal...a camp fire is allowed and not part of the ban.
