Two Jeeps cause who needs money and time

Bought my longtime friend her own jeep. Cost was $500. Needed headliner,no stereo, window leaked and had a head gasket issue. was low km,no dents zero rust and lifted with t case drop and front sway bar disco's

Me and her boys surprised her with the papers and the keys

Now for the past week this has been my home "Tarp City" Under the protection of the tarp carrie did the resealing of the front windshield and replaced the window trim plus replaced the headliner.

Turns out the head was cracked so I picked up a HO head of Jason Jones

After magnaflux, valve grind new seals and springs she looks like new thanks to Gary at Lordco machine shop

The next problem I had was making sure there was no fluid or debris in the head bolt chambers in the block. This was a problem as i'm working under a tarp,no compressor so I modded a Mcdonalds straw to fit a shop vac!

getting closer

All together ,fluids changed and ready for coolant BUT as I pour the coolant in it begins to pour out the back of the head!!!! I snapped, lost my shiznit, but carrie with the calmer attitude takes a look and says,"what's that open port on the head?

Turns out I forgot the temp sending unit LOL

So I get that fixed with a yet ANOTHER visit to Jason Jones's pick a part LOl I turn the motor over by hand and all is well and we are ready to fire it up!! From here we go to the video..............

Oh I forgot to say thanks to Reese for the tip on thread sealing head bolt #11

Ok on to the video.............

Nice work. I've been thinking its time for the same on my 4.0 but have been hesitant to tear it apart. I think it's time for me to nut up.
