Cube van camping

Buddy is thinking of getting a cube van for camping. Has some good points. Can throw multiple toys in it with room to spare. Once you are unloaded camp is set, dry place to hang out and sleep. Could add heat, maybe wood stove. Every thing is dry and dust free. Lots of places don't require 4wd to get to. Good chains would help with ice. Might fit more places then a trailer. 16 foot ish.

Any input?

Downsides
Bulky and high for some areas
Lack of 4wd
Loading toys. Lift gate, ramp
Commercial vehicle status?

saw a guy a couple years ago camping at Murrey lake with a smaller cube van with fold down bunks and a wood stove . he said it was perfect for him stand up comfort with all the amenities. and he just folded up the bunks and slid his aluminium boat in the back and was off.

Good question. Would it go by persons or weight?!?!?!?!?

And would they be sea sluts or van sluts. ....

And my phone has now learned the word sea sluts

You could have a candy Isle!

Wonder how the van bodies hold up to gravel roads

ive thought of this for a long time. cube cans are cheap and i figure a dana 60 would be fine under a one ton cube van. keep it low maybe 33s or 35s. be wide as fuck but youd take it a of places.
build some sliders
