Box 2 VIs being handed out like Candy!

So Snowmanxj and I went to visit GoinGreen tonight at Stave west..turn the corner to Burma and two cops waiting for us. Give us both a Box 2 for no specific reasons except my cop who said, "what you lifted your vehicle and didnt have it inspected? Well if everyone else has to do it you should too" what a crock of shit ..argued for about 20 about how the only visible unsafe thing from a non mechanically inclined person was my crack in the windshield. Even said we are giving your buddy one so why should you not get one.... [ballsmack] [fml]

Show up to Goingreens camp to find out he got a Box 2 as well [lmao]

Well i dont frequent stave that much...expected maybe a roadcheck and we would be waved thru no problem..like the dozen other times i have been stopped at Dylvester, Stave or Harrison..never have i been hassled like this. Been thru 5 roadblocks this year and cops say nice jeep..never a question about the safety of my jeep

This was pure prejudice...no reason

There is no such thing as a cheap inspection They have to charge a rate to cover time to do it
And how could they do it under the table ?
They have to put a sticker on that has a serial no issued to them by the guberment
Pretty sure the gubberment don't hand them out for free
And they can't overlook Things risk loosing their liscence for doing inspections
And your best bet would be one of the shops that do 4x4 stuff
A lot of guys won't do lifted 4x4s

u kidding me...4skin

no worries I have found a cpl guys...my rig is NOT a piece of shit and can be daily driven...Just not looking for some Cop loving prick to go over with fine tooth comb...its not about passing my vehicle, when it shouldnt be passed, its about not getting raped while do it ...

My jeep is better maintained than half of the idiots driving their cars / trucks/suvs out there....its because it looked nice and had big tires thats all

Thanks Dirt lemme know ...like I said I have a buddy of a buddy on the island who is willing to write a VALID report and pass me and my buddy ...this isn't about a keeping a $1000 clunker on the road , its about profiling a $10k well maintained Jeep for a VI when it shouldnt have had one , because we are at Stave...fckn pricks

To be honest...the Cop didnt write anything in the boxes "That require attention" was a really hokey stop and Ticket....I would be surprised if the lazy pricks even entered it into the system when they got back as they had no computer with them....Gonna check ICBC in 2 weeks and see if I have any infractions on my License plate for the Jeep

are you kidding didn't say your truck is a pile
You ask if anyone does under the table inspections cheap
Pretty hard to under the table a govt issued sticker
And told you try a 4x4 shop that does insp they are more apt to know exactly what is required on a 4x4 than a truck shop or reg inspection place would
I know the same guy digler does and he isn't as lenient as he used to be
He recently got audited because a truck he had recently inspected was in a accident
And something wasn't what it should be

Yeah sorry i meant get a better deal to save me money...thats what i meant by under the table as my jeep wont need a full inspection. Someone will take a first look and wonder why i got one....i get the "rules" under the modified vehicle act but really almost every jeep or off road vehicle breaks this ....

Automatic fail with a cracked window

Why not just get it Inslected take it to NSOR or something have them approve it and carry on.. Why waste $$ on going to the island yadda yadda yadda get it door and be done with it , not saying it doesn't blow but u pay the Inspection rate they tell u what needs to be fixed and then u fix it if anything (the window ) it a a shifty price we have to pay..... Now that air care is gone they are making $$ other ways

so what if it gets fully inspected when you take it in. if your so concerned about safety with your rig. passing shouldnt be a big deal then.
