Loaded up the family and put in at (the old) port man and another time at Fort Langley back when they were still building the golden ears.
Went up past the old ferry etc.

Gets fun when a chip barge sails past. HUGE wake from the tug/barge. Have to watch for sand bars and the current can get interesting...


Edit:
12 foot aluminum with a 15 horse.
Wouldn't go with a smaller motor...

Well plowed through strong wind and 4 foot chop on harrison, Fraser should be child's play

The extra length of the sea cock sure catches the wind

Many years back I put in at Port Mann and canoe down to Knight street bridge. Only issue a I had was the tug boats. They seemed to take aim at the canoe on purpose, coming from the opposite side of the river to create a huge wave. Sunscreen and water...

i canoed from Harrison hot springs down to the gill netter way back when in middle school. big canoes, but we lived. so i guess it is do-able
