Just got a box 3

Was a really nice cop and could have given me a box one if he spotted other things on my jeep.

He pulled me over for no doors but I educated him about the CJ's not needing doors because they were a factory option. I need to print that out again and leave it in my glove box.

He gave me a box 3 for having small led lights on the jeep and no mirrors.

I thought the lights had to be just covered but he said they can't even be on the truck. Does that sound right?

I also talked about the front window, driving with it down and he was not sure on that one. I told him all that the regulations say is that you need working wipers and no obstructions on the glass

Anyhow... it was a nice day for a jeep drive

I was told the lights just need to be covered. Got pulled over in a coworkers jeep a few months back, cop told me if the lights had their covers they'd be legal.

I agree with the no doors being a cop magnet.... and the front window down I'm sure is much worse

Cj7's had doors, cj5's didn't have doors, as for the lights just take them off and go show them then put them back on after ,

Got pulled over in maple ridge. The cop said he was in the process of getting his certification for road side vehicle inspections......I guess he was practicing on me
