theft from vehicles in maple ridge

hey all

working for the rc's I have noticed a huge crime wave happening in our fine city. the rats ( 2 legged ) kind have found a device that unlocks and dis-arms our vehs without the alarm going off. in the past month I have seen hundreds and hundreds of vehicles broken into in this way. for the most part they are not causing any damage, just grabbing anything they can see. popular items are:
gps, spare change, insurance papers etc

on one file all they stole was a kids stuffy toy of all things.

leave nothing,i mean nothing in the veh. I am even keeping my glove box and console wide open so they know the veh is empty.

there are always 2 of them and they drive a dark color gmc jimmy style veh. they park and simply walk up and down the streets with this device and hit every veh on the street.

please report any suspicious activity to the rcmp at 604-463-6251 or of course 911 if it's happening now.

thanks for listening,
