What did the bearing say to the connecting rod?

KNOCK,KNOCK Guess it's time for a motor swap, will nurse this one until the I can afford a swap.

http://youtu.be/2RwZztt8Rug

Did an OLF with some rislone additive to quell the voices a little but I know thats only temporary. What bothers me the most is I was easy on it,not much for the skinny pedal, guess its just a jeep thing

The story is I pulled in to a parking space at cambodian tire was idiling and the oil pressure dropped off to nothing and started to knock, tapped the throttle and pressure shot back up but knock/ticking whatever remains. oh well shit happens when you party naked.

trailjunkys had that noise when he got the last one
guy told him it needed to be towed because it wouldn't make it home
still had it when he took it swimming like three years later
and it sounded like stuff was trying to escape
try changing the oil filter especially if its a fram
have had several fail on me and cause low oil pressure

I too have seen Fram Filters CAUSE low oil pressure.

Napa or Carquest Gold.

OR, WIX.

Wix are the best filters in my opinion. The Napa and Carquest Golds are made by WIX.

I agree the WIX or Napa ones are great , what I have done that works really good is go to Toyota and get a filter for a 1976 land cruiser ( it's a cross over for a PH-8A Ford filter) they work better because they have a gravity check ball in them that prevents dry start up I find it works amazing!!

got 360,000 kms on my 2000f-150.. have used fram filters, penzoil oil,
and lucas since day one... on a built up motor
oil changes every 5000
no probs.. shes goin strong runs clean and gettin built up into a beast because the drivetrain has held up so well....

seems fram coffee filters work great for coffee and oil....... .....

..
.
like alot of products assembly line has hit n miss products...
i havent had the badluck of gettin a low pressure fram filter....

i still say its a jeep thing....
