It's a V 10 it'll have power no problems there but I hope you own an oil refinery to fuel it. Also they have the infamous ford spark plug issue.

Brother has a V10 in his ford. Not sure the year of truck but it is around what your looking at.
Only thing that stands out as an issue he had would be the catalitic converters.

missing, weak power, seemed like water in the fuel. Turned out the catalitic converters needed replacing. Not sure on the whole story, but seems they can't simply fall off the truck either...

We have a 2005 F-250 with the V10 at work. It has crazy amounts of power. So much so that it's been demoted to a local truck because it's too much power for driving on the hwy in the snow. The guys can't control their pedal foot and keep putting it in the ditch.

We have had to have 5 of the plugs fixed from them randomly blowing out.
Shit ton of power, I drove from PG to Rupert with 3000lbs or better in the box and only problem was having to adjust the lights down for the trip.
I think that trip took about 400 bucks in gas, I was offered the truck for free and said no because I don't own a gas station but wish I did

after 02 the heads were improved because of the plug issue
the power is good but the fuel milage was 6 to 9 miles to the gal
towing think the best I got was between 12 and 13 empty
going across Alberta Manitoba probably had a tail wind
was a 04 they had Very few problems with it motor wise
it had close to 300.000 km on it when I drove it
