Will take a week or so get put on, need to do some cutting and make some new fender flares landscape edging I hear is cheap .

Is it still solid at least? If it is hit it with rust converter for a few days then wire wheel it and hit it with more rust converter, then paint the floor, my cj floor was rusted to shit but the converter worked great

So here we are at day 3 and fab work has begun

Pass side

Plates being cut!

certainly aint pretty but I didn't bring my friend a very easy job, required some silicone sealing where weld blew through but it's not going to leak!!

here's a bigger problem, pulled more carpet to to find this! No time left in the day to cut out donor panels so i did a driveway ghetto seal of mesh tape and a generous amount of gravel guard

Here I was making sure there were going to be no leaks around the welds!

No more holes!!!

Really quick shot coat of primer to protect new welds

Sorry for the blurry pic must be the paint fumes but there's were we end off for a day. I will update as more work gets done which is only a case of how much money you want to spend

Holes in the floorboards are good, they may let water in but they also let it out

When you swamp it and water comes in through the doors, it sucks driving with big puddles in your fully sealed floorboards
