So i have recently been fortunate enough to get into side x side's, when i first saw them i figure it was a fad that would pass but now it seems like its taking off. how many of you have one or have gone for a rip? check out Al launching this stock rzr 1000, what do you guys think?

If i didnt have a jeep I might be a little more interested in them. I still prefer the freedom of movement on an ATV.

I also prefer trails over gravel road and while the side x sides are capable they are two big to fit into and onto some of them.

one more advantage is on an ATV you have the option of jumping off if are about to roll down a cliff.

it all depends on what kind of ridding you like to do. for the average trails and FSR gravel roads you have more room to put a cooler and more options for mounting a stereo ......but again I have a CJ jeep for that.

Al from Concept Designs RZR is definitely nowhere near to being stock he probably has 20 grand at least invested into his machine. If you where to try what he is doing in that video with a stock machine then all you would end up with is a pile of spare parts, yes side by sides are very capable but there is no way a stock side by side would be able to complete a jump like that

Side by sides are pretty sweet. Specially when they're all decked out. But for 1/3 the cost you can have a sidekick or samurai on 31s. As honky said I also like the freedom of movement of an ATV. If you got the money though a side by side would be badass. Stereo, lights, yadda yadda yadda. Buddy showed me a video of a side by side on 40s doin donuts. So awesome.
