Breaking in my new hunting partner

Took HeyAnn up for a 4 day quad rip/hunt. It was the first “hunting” so we spent most of the time exploring around on the quads ( with guns)

I called it 1/2 hunting and had a great trip!

We took our time and started off at the Hope slide feeding rats with tails

We went to East Gate and set up for the at the base of Placer Mountain. That night we headed up to the Lake (Placer Lake) for a fire and drinks till dark.

Over looking our camp and hunting area

We saw about 6 Does but no bucks so we headed over to the Whipsaw with plans on camping at Loadstone Lake. We never made it there as we took the wrong road which we had no business being on with an 18’ enclosed trailer. We came across a hunter that truck broke down as we walking for hours. He had about 30 KM to go to get back to his camp so needless to say he was happy to see us. With little room to turn around we managed to get the trailer turned around on a muddy hill but not without putting a small dent in the tucks bumper. On the way back to the hunters camp we had a flat tire. Lets just say we never made it to Loadstone Lake.

We found another camp and headed out hunting/quading. We followed to route that the GPS told us to take on the wrong road….all I can say is I’m glad we turned around…it would have got ugly oh and the GPS lied it was NOT the way to Loadstone

Saw some really interesting things along the way. This an old Coal mine

It rained one night se we decided to set up a movie. WOW is all I can say the sound system in the trailer is amazing . Will have to do this again!

Had a few nice fires with some great music and better company

Along the way we found a number of old Mining cabins

Someone had a sense of humour the sign reads “ Mine shaft # 2

Some hills to climb and the terrain we were hunting

My new hunting partner getting into the game! Looking forward to the next adventure (with guns) with my HeyAnn

Fkn Eh looks like a wicked time for sure some sweet looking terrain to blast on with a Quad that's for sure...

And I agree with a Choppy that trailer set up is Pimptacular I love it

Fck Eh u and tires just don't get along do ya you gonna start carrying more then one spare ??

And have u thought about a extension for you receiver so that the trailer is farhter back so that you won't be hitting the bumper when at that tight of a angle.... Seen then on trucks that the big campers and still Towing behind it
