cab mounts line up?

Hey would the cab\front clip mounts for a 1985 chev cab\front clip fit on a 1980 frame?

It's called a measureing tape has a bunch of little lines and
Squiggly things on it those squiggly things are numbers
Take the tape measure the distance between mounts on cab
And mounts on frame
If its within a couple little lines it should fit

I could swear we had this discussion before

I put a 2wd 1986 cab on a 1980 4x4 frame. Automatic, NP205 and didn't have to change the floor hump, if it's a 4 speed I would guess you'll have to do some cutting/welding.

And I used the '86 front clip as well. Body mounts lined up perfectly

I don't think they really changed the frames on those things the entire production run of the body style
