93 jeep grand cherokee best driving lights?

I got a 93 jeep grand cherokee. I want a good set of driving lights for seeing straight ahead for long ways down road. I have some 55w ones I use with my low beam for fog yet want some to enhance my high beam distance wise. Figured I'll need to wire in continuous duty solenoid for two 100w lights. My budget is for $100 + or minus.

So bought these Nighthawk Platinum 9004 for the Jeep. Buddy that works at Lordco said he had his lenses cleaned and no difference till he went with the Nighthawk Platinum. He said they are cheaper than the PIA brand yet just as good. So I'll put them in and see...
