xj alternator relocate and upgrade

I swear there was a thread here on doing a relocate and upgrade on a cherokee. I finally got my 150 amp caddy alternator a spare bracket, and I just wanted to see how it was mounted up, cant fine the pic anywhere

I had my stock altenator mounted up top where the compressor should be

Thanks. Mines a bit bigger . Going to try and use a hole where my compressor used to be and use to be and rig an old alt bracket to the back as a brace. I still have some little m8 bably heims to rig up a turnbuckle brace if i need

I had mine mounted to the ac base. One bolt just used the stock hole and the top was bolted to the bracket using the stock altenator bracket

bolts right on! plugs right in! no shimming, nothing just install. making a rear bracket today.

Or you could of bought sealed bearings for under $20 an fixed the alt problems.

Mine was perfecty operational .. But way too small for my needs.
