anybody tow with a detroit locker in the rear??

well im cartrailer shoppin.... .

.so i can beat my toy even harder...n not have to drive it home...
not sure if i can beat her harder but id like to try .

so gonna set up my ford for towin...
just wonderin if anyone has experience towing with a detroit in the rear??
does it track funny?
does it always bang in n out while towing?
make it harder to go in a straight line?


i love my locker!!! and have had it in my truck trouble free for 8 years .

i have towed my travel trailer no probs but thats only 1200lbs fully loaded..

ii think the truck will tow the toy n trailer no probs...
just wondering what ur experience has been if any towing with a locker...

Well my dodge has a locker in the back and have towed heavy stuff with it

I wouldn't worry about it as long as you keep your eye on tire pressure like you should with a locker anyway. You can option big rigs with detroit lockers in em

I have a full Detroit, love it. It's been beat, towed beat on again.

Then beat on some more, driven about 20 000 k on it, no problems.


Now it sits and waits for its next beating.

I think he means he's DOING the towing with the Detroit.

Yours is always GETTING towed.

my 95 dodge 3500 flat deck has a locker and we tow a 7500lb travel trailer and two quads on the deck all summer
