Need Help, See Below Please

I have a 1985 GMC Jimmy S15 4WD with a 2.8L V6, and I had to swap out the 2.8L V6 with a 2.8L V6 OHV out of a 1985 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4WD. I am finding a few differences in the two. Mainly the emissions are different. On the 2.8L V6 it seems to be pulling from both exhaust manifolds, where as the 2.8L V6 OHV only pulls from one side. Also the Carb/TBI have one difference I can see. On the 2.8L V6 OHV there is a Blue Three Prong plug on the side where the 2.8L V6 does not. I am wondering do I need to switch carbs? I already swapped the distributor from the 2.8L V6 to the 2.8L V6 OHV or can I just hook up what vacuum and emissions I can, and have it run as it should? Any help would be great.
