Rebuilding the Celine on my camper, I wanna replace the lights, anyone here sell these in a LED version? Otherwise I'll just go to princess auto and buy some sort of lighting

Yea but the covers are also all nasty and tarnished, you have seen them,

I was thinking of the LED. Bulbs that you got Aaron, somehow fit them into the original housings

http://www.ebay.com/itm/10x-BA15S-11...em2a1523 7808

Just installed ten of these in my camper from this seller. Plan on waiting for two weeks as this guy sends it low priority mail. Now I see the bastard dropped the price after I bought...

The 36 LED pads are about the same to a little brighter than a regular bulb and the colour is the same to a little "cooler" (I think it's perfect)

I turned into a geek and took some measurements with a multimeter...
One bulb on a 12.5 volt battery draws 1.45 amps
two bulbs draw 2.85 amps
Three bulbs draw 4.20 amps
and four bulbs draw 5.51 amps

In comparison

One LED pad draws 0.23 amp
Two draws 0.46 amp
Three draws 0.68
Four draws 0.89
eight draws 1.73 amps
and all ten LED lights draws 2.17 amps. If your keeping count that is still less than just two bulbs (but not by much...)

I went to an LED light store on the corner of first and boundry

They had led pads that weren't as bright and far more yellow for $9.00 a pop.

As I found out, not all LED pads are created equal, at least with princess auto if your not satisfied you got the option of taking them back. That guy in Hong Kong won't be feeling as charitable....

Buying Brand new assemblys with regular bulbs are fairly cheap(less than $20),then adding led bulbs would be a lot cheaper than buyin led light assemblys at rv place prices.

Why not switch them out for commercial grade led dome lites? They are way brighter than camper led domes and flush fitting as well you can get them from grote, collins mfg or princess auto at a cost of only $25 each.
