i have a great little wood stove for my cabin wall tent its small and works like hell but you know what

My new big buddy propane heater kicks its ass and no need to stoke it and you dont smell like a chimny fire after you use it and lighter/easer to pack and if you drunk fall in to it if shuts off ...

just sayin'

i had a good run with the wood but i like the new unit

good points. i would be worried about running out of oxygen (sensor malfunction). plus they give off moisture. they are light and easy though. i use my buddy heater to heat the tent before bed and when i wake up. i dont trust running it while i sleep though.

got to use it for camping. the people that said propane cylinders are bad for holding a fire all night seem right. i had wood wet though so maybe with more use i can find a way to make it burn longer.

i made a cheap wall tent with a pop up canopy and tarps, held the heat in well

i made the air intake larger, it was choking itself out
