yes i tried unlocking it... no i dont want to climb in the window

I have a 97 Chevy Tahoe... i cant open the door...
HELP PLEASE!!
I am tired of climbing thru the passenger side....

Buy a ford problem solved , but back to the problem , the linkage in the door probably just came apart can you pu the pannel off and have a look see?

that would be easier to do if I could get the door open... The seat is in the way . I'll go see if I can get it off..

since your a newbie learn to search, google, here, pirate4x4 etc. door panels just pop on with plastic piece. pry around the edges of it and it will come off

there may be philips screw in a couple spots holding it on but then a bunch of those plastic clips which can be a pain.

There was 2 screws on the handle part.. I got those off. Used a flat head screw driver.. pried it up enough to get my hand under... Pulled really hard... Pinched hand.... Got hand unstuck. Swore a bunch... And had some icecream....

if there is an arm rest there might be 2 in there or it needs to be removed before the rest will come off
