park brake

searched online, cant find what im looking for sooo

05 ram 3500 single rear wheel, does the rear rotor slide off of the wheel studs ( like the 1500 videos I seen) or is it bolted to the wheel hub, and axles have to be removed in order to remove the caliper ( like all the dually videos I seen )

going to replace the park brake shoes soon, want to know if I need wheel seals and gaskets....

yup rear rotors should just be a slip on design. Should just have to remove the caliper and possibly the mount bracket/pad slide

Perfect everything I read says the 3500 has bolt on rotors. But they all seemed to be talking about duallys

Kevs were a slip on his is a o6 srw
But we're a@&$&@@&$@@ to get off after the battle to get the wheels of
Kicked them hit them with a hammer hit them with a bigger hammer
Did donuts in the turnaround at the End of the street with the lug nuts loose
Finally warmed them with a tiger torch and they came off easy
The rotors well let's just say glad we were replaceing them

Fixed my park brake. Everything came apart easy. There was no linning left.

Found out I have a posi rear end. With one side jacked up and trans in gear I was able to remove the wheel nuts on the side jacked up without the wheel spinning. And they were on tight.

I think you may have something else going on there....

The Trac-Rite Gear Locking Limited Slip Differential is in use in 2003 and later dodge trucks.

These differ from the traditional clutch pack posi in that you need to have a certain resistance in order for the limited slip to engage (apply the emergency brake)
I have limited slip in mine and am sure I can jack one wheel and have the tire spin....

edit:
Of course the wheel won't spin. You had one side on the ground and the tranny in gear.... No where for the wheel to turn.
