Diesel starting issue

Sooo having a little issue with my diesel today, tried to start it and it wouldn't start so I had to catch a ride to work today, when I got home I tried again, but when I went to start it I just got a clunk
Sound from under the hood, so I jumped the solenoid and it started, did I kill my ignition switch or my solenoid on my truck?

It's a 94 f250 7.3L turbo diesel IDI,5 speed 4x4
Blah blah blah

More than likely it's the solenoid.....plus they aren't too pricey to replace, especially if jumping it caused it to turn over.

The solenoid is a symptom cause by the fuel system
To much cranking surprised the starter hasn't melted off it
