Bleeding brakes-too much pedal travel

So I put 4 door front calipers and rotors in the zuk, and flushed all the old fluid out of the rear line while bleeding
I have bled all 4 lines till no air and old fluid is coming out and I still have excessive brake pedal travel
Anyone know what could be causing this?

Did u empty the master cyclinder all the way down at all? U might have air in that still! Or if its new did u bench bleed it?

your soft brake lines are old and allowing expansion. nobody ever checks the rubber lines. Hold them in your hand and bend them around, look for any bit of scaling or cracking. or the plunger on your master cylinder is hooped

Are the rear brakes adjusted and are the pistons bigger in the new calipers (requiring more fluid delivery from the master) ?

Kinda what I'm thinking, rubber lines are 4-5 years old, and everything worked fine before the upgrade... So time for a bigger mc too?

Samurai master cylinders are tiny. They cannot supply enough fluid for upgraded brakes.

Adjust your rear brakes first, if you didn't run the master dry and don't have any air coming out the bleeders it's usually shoes out of adjustment.

I'd go with bigger pistons in calipers more fluid =more pedal travel
And I know just going from 4cyl calipers to v6 calipers on my 4 runner made pedal lower
