Question Alaska cruise.

Ellian and I are celebrating out 10 year anniversary in June with a cruise to Alaska.
No kids !!!!
It's our first cruise and don't know what to expect.

Any suggestions to make our cruise better ?

Thanks.

Hard to believe ellian has put up with my crap for over 10 years.

The alaska cruise is gorgeous. How many stops are you making and where? You have to go to the red dog saloon its awesome.

Booze is expensive , good thing your not much of a drinker
Don't expect to be comfortable in your room they are small no matter how much you pay. Best room imo is the wheel chaor access room I once was put in one cause the other rooms were over booked and it was the best room ever. HUGE

ENJOY

I have cleaned out two Costco sized mouthwash.

That should be good for the first day.

Had a friend make butter, put it in a oil of olay lotion container, spread it on her toast everyday.

that is what i did when i went on this cruise. Then just go back to the room to top off. (hell sometimes i just carried the wine bag in my backpack - cause i'm classy like that )

I did a real quick 4 day cruise - went to Sitka
The views are great and tons of awesome sea

Congrats on the 10 years! Ry and I went for our 10 yr last summer. It was a nice week without kids. Definitely smuggle your booze, its expensive (and at least on the boat we went on, you couldnt run a tab so you had to sign for each and every drink you ordered). If you want to do any tours at the stops, sign up early cuz they can sell out and the line ups can be annoying. If the weather is supposed to co=operate go on a plane tour at one of the glaciers (ours was cancelled due to rain BOO) And where not everyone agrees with me, I must say in regards to scenery, I was a little disappointed.... kinda like being on a long bc ferry ride (not many majestic peaks and whatnot that I had expected) But enjoy! And I hear June is a decent month to go

We had a deck on ours was a great time. We did excursions at every port. Did the free style cruising on the Norwegian Sun so no set meal time. Didn't have to sign for anything ur room key just kept track of everything and u just got the bill at the end hahaha. We didn't do the sit down meal once we ended up at the buffet on the top floor at the back was always great and different and ate on the back deck or went back to the room. All the nick nacks are more or less the same in each port
