Finally got off my ass and traced down the loss of power in the jeep.
The stroker used to spin the tires on the dry.. now had a fight to make it up the hill.
Today i checked the fuel filter... not clean but not bad.
Checked for codes....none Pulled the muffler and looked into the cat.. half of the material was missing.
Fired it up and revved her up... outlet of the cat jammed with core and 95% plugged the outlet. when at idle it fell back and ran fine. Pulled the cat and punched out all the shit.
Well at least I found out why it did the intermittent die.
Revs like a stroker again. Hopefully the tail pipe and muffler are clear.
