remember this post you made about how you were impressed with the SXS http://www.funinbc.com/forum/showthr...&highlight=sxs
They are impressive but it depends on what kind of ridding you want to do. I enjoy the challenge of the harder trails and a sxs is just not going to keep up.

You get them on the logging road or some nice med to harder trails they look like fun. But I already have a sxs for that.... That has heat.... And holds more beer

In all seriousness i figure you need one of each type of vehicle like boats its horses for courses and each vehicle has its niche. is the 450 to small underpowered now that you are used to the 700? if you got a bigger faster machine would you outgrow the 700 or over time would you just replace with the latest one say 5yrs down the road so you always have a fairly new reliable set of quads? just idle thoughts .

Go take a few demos for a ride. 800 CanAm, 750 Brute Force would be my choices. Stay away from Polaris and Cat

Really wish Yamaha would update the Grizzly, almost 10,000km on my '07 and not a dime spent besides regular engine oil/filter and diff oil changes. Still has the original battery! If they put a twin 800cc in and got rid of the leaning in the corners I'd jump on a new one. Until then I'm keeping the old 700.

Only people who have done the trails we like to run will understand what kev is talking about

Sitting down will not get the job done. We are spending the whole time counterbalancing and rocking to get traction while tetertoting on logs. We also spend time beside our quads(walking them through the odd spot.)

The trails we run are no place for a side by side.

If u wanna go follow the trucks then sure and for fsr riding Hells ya but trails No way

Only way a Cherokee is following me on some of our trails is with a chainsaw and an excavator When I'm rubbing both fenders fitting between trees or standing on one side walking the quad so it doesn't roll off the trail only thing following me is a dirtbike!

The 450 was for Ann and she wants to move up to the power steering and a better ride.

Get a samurai.

It's like a quad with a roof and heat.
